Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies” (see “Cookies”), which are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. We have also added the code “anonymizeIP” to Google Analytics on this website. This guarantees that your IP address is masked so that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

Google will use the information collected for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing.

As part of this service, data is transferred to the USA or such a transfer cannot be ruled out. We would like to point out that, in the opinion of the European Court of Justice, there is currently no adequate level of data protection for data transfer to the USA and that there are therefore various risks (such as possible access by US intelligence services).

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our overriding legitimate interest (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO), which consists in achieving the purposes mentioned under point 2. If you give us your consent to process your data in a separate process, we process this data on the legal basis of this consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit a DSGVO). We also process data to fulfill pre-contractual rights and obligations (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit b DSGVO).

Recipients/recipient categories:

We may transfer your personal data to the following recipients for the above-mentioned purposes:

  • IT service providers used by us, web hosting companies, web services

Some of the above recipients may be located outside your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in your country. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection. Please note the separate regulations for data transfer to the USA (point 4 Web analysis “Use of Google Analytics”).

Storage periods

We generally store your inquiry and contact data until the end of the business relationship in the context of which we collected your data or until the expiry of the applicable statutory limitation and retention periods, e.g. in the context of subsequent contract processing. This is usually the case if there has been no further contact with you for three years.

If you have applied for a position with us, you will be informed about the status of your application after the application process has ended. Personal data of rejected applicants will be stored for a maximum period of six months or seven months after the expiry of the claim period under the Equal Treatment Act, starting from the date of rejection of the application. If consent to record-keeping has been given, the applicant data will be stored for one year from the date of receipt of the application.

We will generally store your website usage data for a period of three months. Data will only be stored for longer if this is necessary in order to investigate attacks on our website.

Rights of data subjects

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

  • Right to information,
  • Right to rectification or erasure,
  • Right to restriction of processing,
  • Right to object to processing,
  • right to data portability.

Furthermore, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Austria the data protection authority). The data protection authority can be contacted at the following address:
