Not just a trend, but our attitude.

Sustainability is firmly anchored in our corporate values and omnipresent in our company. It can be seen, for example, in the 120-kWp PV system with which we cover 170% of our electricity requirements. 70kWh of stored energy gives us an emergency power supply adequate for up to one working day.

The woodchip heating system with which we heat our building is environmentally friendly and highly efficient. The woodchips are sourced from the surrounding woodlands. 2/3 of the water we use comes from collected rainwater which is stored in
tanks.

Even seemingly simple changes can have major positive effects. For this reason, we have automated and optimised our entire building, from the shading of the offices to the workshop air conditioning through natural ventilation during the night.

Our employees come from the region and usualy, have only a short journey to work. Some have already elected to travel CO2 neutral and cycle to work on most days.

Our catering features fresh and regionally sourced products.

When it comes to our company cars, wherever possible, we choose e-mobility, with some restrictions due to our large sales area.

We are particularly proud to say that Team Grundner stands for responsibility! Many of our employees are involved in charitable organisations and nonprofit corporations. Almost a third are active members of the voluntary fire service or the Austrian Red Cross.

Our supply chain is also regional – 90% of our suppliers are located within a radius of under 100 km.
